KK - Milla

Peale väikest pausi on kümme küsimust tagasiii! Ma otsustasin, et hakkangi kajastama vahelduse mõttes nii Eesti kui ka välismaa kauneid (ja stiilseid) inimesi siin! Täna on vaatluse all norrakas Milla, kes õpib praegu Londonis äri tegema. Ma ei mäletagi täpselt kus, millal või kuidas ma Milla avastasin, aga ma olen väga õnnelik, et avastasin. Ta blogist leiab alati midagi mida lugeda ja muidugi ei puudu sealt ka ohtralt pilte. Milla soe naeratus lihtsalt kutsub lugema ja followima :) Nagu te ka juba võite aimata siis tänane postitus tuleb inglise keeles, kellel sellega probleeme on siis alati võib abi paluda armsa sõbra google translate käest :)

Mida arvad sina sellest kui pikk inimene kannab kõrgeid kingi? Tohiks, ei tohiks? Milla on 175 cm jagu kvaliteetset Norra ilu ja leiab, et pikad inimesed peaksidki uhkusega kõrgeid kontsi kandma. 

After a little break the 10 questions post is back! I have decided to show you fashion bloggers not only from Estonia but from abroad aswell. Everybody deserves to be shown right? :) Today you can read about Norwegian Milla, who is learning how to make business in London at moment. I am not really sure how, where or where did i find Milla's blog, but im really glad I did. There is always something to read and to watch in her blog, also her warm smile just invites you to start following her!

What do you think when a tall girl is wearing high heels? Should she or not? Milla is 175 cm of Norwegian beauty and finds that tall people should wear hight heels with pride! She also is talking about her wish to  go to Australia right now to learn how to surf, and spend some lazy days on the beach. That way she could also wear all the gorgeous summer clothes she's just waiting to use!

Milla Jorgensen

"My name is Milla, I’m 19 years old. I’m from Norway but right now I am studying business in London. I really like it here and am absolutely enjoying the big city life!"

How would you describe your style?

I think my style is very wearable but still fashionable. It’s often quite simple with just jeans and a t-shirt, but I like adding some key accessories like a belt or a necklace. I think that can make the whole outfit. I love black and neutrals, but when spring comes around brighter colours always find their way into my wardrobe. Like the colourful sweater I found at River Island the other day. I think all the colours are perfect for spring, and it just makes me happy wearing it!


High street, vintage, homemade or designer? 

I tend to go for high street. If I had all the money in the world I would love to shop more designer clothes, but as a full-time student that will have to wait! Occasionally I also buy some vintage. London has a lot of good vintage stuff, both at the markets and at other vintage shops. I think it’s fun with diy-projects, like my tie-dye jeans that I made earlier this year!


Why do you blog &where did the name (millas snapshots) come from? Have people come up to you and said "heeyyy, arent you Milla? :)" How would you feel if people would come up to you and say that? :) 
Because it allows me to share tips and other things that I feel can inspire others. I thought ‘snapshots’ was a good fit because my pictures are a big part of my blog. Haha no, I don’t think so at all, that has never happened to me! I would probably be a little bit embarrassed at first, but on the other hand, it would just be fun! I’m always curious to see who reads my blog and leaves all the nice comments!

Is there a thing / trend that you thought you'd never wear but now love? 
The first thing that popped into my head was my round sunglasses from Ray-ban. Only a few years ago such sunglasses were the ugliest thing I could think of, now they’re my favourites!

Where do you get your inspiration? 

In London you find so many different styles, people, cultures, art and even buildings so there’s always something new to be inspired by. Other than that I love reading magazines, like Elle. I read a lot of blogs, the Sartorialist, Jak and Jil, Elin Kling’s and fashiontoast to mention a few. I also follow about 30-40 blogs on bloglovin’ (mostly Scandinavian but not only) that I flip through for inspiration. 

What do you reckon will be in fashion this summer? 

I don’t focus that much on being on trend all the time, more on what I can incorporate into my own style. I think we will see a lot of colours, both brights and pastels. Also a lot of lime and yellow combined with black and white, which I love. And of course a lot of printed jeans and denim shorts, with different patterns and studs. 

I see you wearing lots of high heel shoes, what to you prefer - heels or wedges? How do you feel while wearing high heels? So should or should you not wear high heels if you are tall? 
You should!! I am 175cm but I love wearing high heels, the higher the better. How I feel while wearing high heels? Confident! So yes, I absolutely think you should wear high heels if you are tall. If it makes you feel good, wear them! 

What do you have in your wish list at the moment ? 
My wishlist goes on forever and ever…But at the very top right now, is the perfect pair of white jeans. Also a pair of black strappy heels. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 / 10 years ?  
That is a very good question, but to be honest I have no idea. I don’t even know where I will be in three years! Possibly in London somewhere, or maybe in NYC? That would be a dream. 

If anybody would ask some advise in fashion what would you say to them? 
Wear what you like, even if it’s a little different. So many times girls have commented that they love for example my shoes or necklace, but that they wouldn’t dare to wear it. That makes me a little sad! Dare to be the first one to try something! I’ve lived in small towns before and I know how difficult it can be to branch out. But it is worth it, for all you know everyone else is just waiting for someone else to ‘be the first one’ to wear something.
